"WHY CAN'T I GET A TICKET TODAY?"

Putnam County Playhouse is run by volunteers. Because we depend on our Board Members to work in the Box Office, we can only be open at specific times. If we were to hire a paid staff member to work in the box office, our ticket prices would have to be raised accordingly.

For the past 30+ years, we have sold tickets during performance weeks only. The box office is open from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. (or curtain time) during the run of each mainstage show.

Tickets for ALL shows are available during each of the other shows. So individual tickets for the upcoming 1776 and The Odd Couple have been on sale since the Open House on May 29.

At times a board member may be at the theatre while working on a project and answer the telephone at hours other than those posted.  Unless you call during the official Box Office hours, it may NOT be possible to reserve your tickets.

Please remember to get your tickets DURING the run of the show!  Tickets for 1776 will go on sale on Monday, August 8, at 5 p.m. You can also buy tickets for The Odd Couple during those two weeks.  Thanks!
