"The Odd Couple" returns to PCPH in September




Neil Simon's The Odd Couple will close the 55th season of Putnam County Playhouse. This time around, the leading characters are female, although the situations and the laughs are the same.

Director for the production is Andrew Ranck. Stage Manager for the show is Jessica Masner. Set designer is Linda Gjesvold.

Appearing in the leading roles are Sarah Bond as Olive Madison and Meghan Armitage as Florence Unger - the distaff equivalents of Oscar & Felix.

Featured performers include Kathy Arnold as Vera, Allison Creekmore as Sylvie, Karen Sutherlin as Mickey, and Katie Wallace as Renee.

The brothers upstairs will be played by Ric McFadden and Dustin Bond.

McFadden and Sutherlin appeared in the original production of  The Odd Couple (The Female Version) when it was produced at PCPH in 1991. Sutherlin is reprising her role as Mickey the cop, and McFadden is playing the other brother this time around.
